Function Perturbation

Functional perturbation array uses one or more functional perturbation agents to perturb one or more functions to evaluate the impact of these functions on a predetermined function. The functional perturbation array is good for understanding functional interactions, such as drug-drug interaction, gene-drug interaction, gene-gene interactions, or interaction of any bioactive agents.  In the perturbation arrays, each defined location corresponds to a perturbing agent for a biological target, which represents a biological function.  The outcome of the perturbation can be any predefined parameter which is measurable. 100-QuickPath functional validation arrays provide two types of functional perturbation arrays:

Drug Array: chemical as a perturbing agent.

siRNA Array: siRNA as a perturbing agent.
