The functional perturbation array is good for understanding functional interactions, such as drug-drug interaction, gene-drug interaction, gene-gene interactions, or interaction of any bioactive agents. In the perturbation arrays, each defined location corresponds to a perturbing agent for a biological target, which represents a biological function.
